Sing to Live® Community Chorus presents movie and TV theme song favorites! The mission of the Sing to Live® Community Chorus is to provide an unique musical outlet that celebrates hope and survival for singers whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

A Toy-ful Celebration
GCC Chancel Choir & Glenview Concert Band


Join the Glenview Concert Band, under the direction of Greg Wojcik, in a festive evening of holiday music and fun. This concert benefits the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots program.

Free, but please consider bringing a toy (or TOYS) to the concert to donate to the Marines and help make some child's Christmas morning a little brighter.

Alliance Brass Ensemble

Alliance Brass is "the perfect blend of virtuosity and vitality" (Chicago Brass Festival). Members of the ensemble have performed all over the world from Canada and Mexico to Russia, the UK, and Japan, having shared the stage with orchestras such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Cleveland Orchestra. Dazzling audiences with a repertoire ranging from the early Renaissance to jazz and beyond, the Alliance Brass is one of country’s leading chamber ensembles.

A Concert for Peace


Members and friends of GCC will explore the theme of "Peace" through a wide variety of styles and ensembles. Katherine Hughes, Kevin Kizer, Jade Maze, Kent Wehman, Gary Wendt and others perform in this annual concert favorite!

A free-will offering will be taken to benefit Hands of Peace - an interfaith organization developing peacebuilding and leadership skills in Israeli, Palestinian and American teens through the power of dialogue and personal relationships.

Youth Choirs of First Congregational Church-Crystal Lake

The thirty voice Alleluia Sound is made up of students from seven local high schools, many of whom have participated in the music program at FCC since preschool. Good Vibrations Handbell Choir provides a bell anthem for one worship service monthly and has twelve members of high school age, all with strong musical interests. Each spring, the two choirs tour together, sharing music with congregations across the Midwest.

A free-will offering will be taken to benefit Simple Gifts Concert Series.

All That Has Life and Breath, Sing to the Lord! 75th Anniversary Concert Celebration

A musical culmination of GCC's 75th Anniversary featuring GCC's Chancel Choir performing Lobgesang (Hymn of Praise) by Felix Mendelssohn for chorus, organ and orchestra. Also featuring Symphony No. 1 for Organ and Orchestra by Alexandre Guilmant. Guillermo Munoz Kuster, conductor; Gary Wendt, organist.

A freewill offering will be taken to benefit the GCC Friends of Music Fund.

Sunday, June 4
3:00pm

Organ Walk 6

Join us as we walk (or drive) to hear three of the north shore's finest instruments and organists! Featuring organists Kirstin Synnestvedt (New Church), Julia Brueck (St. David’s Episcopal Church), and Gary Wendt (Glenview Community Church). We will begin at New Church at 3:00 and conclude by 5:00 at GCC.
